I’m no Limbaugh lover, in fact, I think he’s the biggest a$$hole conservative punditry has to offer (and that’s saying a lot).

But my question is: Why cares?

Plenty of a$$holes run sports teams. Many of them are just as racist and just as conservative than Rush (Ms Schott, anyone?). No one ever cared before— or at least, they didn’t care enough to stop them from actually purchasing the team. Why start now?

Obviously I don’t agree with what Rush says or believes. And I don’t really give a crap about St. Louis or the Rams, so it’s not like I have any personal stake in what he does. Sure, I’d rather NOT see him run a football team… Wait, actually, scratch that— that would be great f#cking theater! I mean, seriously, this needs to happen just for the sake of comedy. Even if it only lasts two months before he gets assassinated by a Rams fan.

Basically what I’m trying to say is why should we give a sh!t if a racist a$$hole wants to buy a sports team? It has no immediate impact on our lives. Unless it’s our sports team.

Which it isn’t, so we’re all good. Let Rush Limbaugh buy the Rams, pull up a chair and make some popcorm because it will be HI-larious.

Yesterday TOF ran a piece about Rush Limbaugh’s inclusion in a group that’s trying to buy the St. Louis Rams. Well, the other members of the potential ownership group got really scared and intimidated by our awesome influence over the sports world and decided to kick him out of the group. We won! TOF rules, Rush drools! Take that, you fat f#ck! That’s what happens when you step to The Other Fifteen! It’s nice to see the ownership group bend to the pressure we put on them. Yep, it was purely due to our influence, nothing else. Now weather or not this is the case is irrelevant, because I’m taking a page the crazy conservative media that Rush is a part of: if you claim it, it’s true (regardless of mounds of evidence to the contrary). So celebrate with us, TOF fans. The Other Fifteen: One. Rush Limbaugh: Zero.

Here is my approximate reenactment of our victory over Rush. Just so we’re clear, in this analogy TOF is the boxing glove whereas Rush is the faces getting the punched the f#ck out.

“The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and Crips without any weapons. There I said it.” Rush said, as if the rest of us with half a brain or any sense of common decency were thinking it.

“I think what we’ve had here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been desirous that a black quarterback do well.” Yes, because the liberal media is totally responsible for the awesome career stats of Warren Moon, Donavan McNabb, Steve McNair, Randall Cunningham, etc.

Truthfully, I think this is a natural progression for someone who claimed that drug addicts should be executed while he was illegally obtaining and addicted to synthetic heroin. Now he gets the chance to own of a team full of “Bloods and Crips,” which apparently he should profit from financially. Would that technically make him a gang leader, or just someone who bankrolls gang members?

Luckily, the Players’ Union, several players, and at least one owner, the Colts’ Jim Irsay, have come out to challenge his candidacy for partial team ownership. Either his candidacy is going to get shot down, or the entire NFL is going to turn into a massive sh*t-storm any time a team goes to play St. Louis (let alone the problems with employees of the organization itself). Stay tuned.
