No f-cking way!

From The Sporting Blog, here is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen in baseball: A Fordham player diving head first over the catcher to score a run and avoid getting tagged out.

MO-FAIL!

It must suck to be from Missouri today. Glad I only live here and get to revel in their misery.
Also, it rained ALL EFFING DAY, without stop, across the entire state. This surely was an Omen?

Rick Porcello: Boy, Man or BEAST?

As I’m sure you’ve seen or heard, Tigers pitcher Rick Porcello body slammed Kevin Youkilis in the second inning of Tuesday night’s game in Boston.
I didn’t see it as it happened— I was listening to my Gameday Audio. Naturally, MLB.com has conveniently avoided posting it as a game highlight on their web site. I [...]

My Take on Ortiz, A-Rod, and PED’s

How best should I [...]

Dodging Icebergs Is Hard When You’re Drunk

Sorry Frankie, but you knew what you were getting into. The Mets are the opposite of Mark Teixeira hustling from first on a routine pop-up to win the game. That would never even occur to them. Honestly, can you even picture Jose Reyes doing that?
Every season the Mets begin with a seemingly (although sometimes only [...]

Wow, Jeremy said something ridiculous and is wrong about it? No Way!

Jeremy, first, Ortiz didn’t take steroids, and second, your argument and examples for the fact he did, suck.
David Ortiz at Baseball Reference
Ortiz’s power did not suddenly appear. He was a part-time player on the Twins, a team that undervalued his skills and mis-used his abilities. They wanted him to be a 1B with power. In [...]
