It’s been a good week for the Raiders.  First, they beat the Eagles, now they find out that their coach will not have assault charges filed against him.  The Napa Police Dept. concluded  that Tom Cable assaulted one of his assistant coaches, Randy Hanson, during the pre-season and broke his jaw.  However, the District Attorney’s office concluded that they couldn’t prove beyond a reasonable doubt that a crime had occurred due to conflicting witness statements and other cloudy evidence, thus a conviction would probably not happen if the case went to trial.  How fitting is it that the best news the Raiders have had all season is that their coach is beating an assault rap.  You stay classy, Oakland!
