The Other Fifteen

In his interview with ESPN’s Jeremy Schapp, Plaxico Burress for the first time discussed the details of the night that he brought a loaded handgun into a crowded Manhattan nightclub and accidentally shot himself in the leg.  He claimed that the bouncers patted him down and knew he had the gun and let him in anyway.  He also wanted to make sure we all knew that he was NOT wearing sweatpants that night.  To be clear, he was wearing black jeans, Chuck Taylor’s, and a sweatSHIRT, with the gun tucked into his waistband.  He also said that he was in the club for “maybe five minutes” before the gun went off, and that he didn’t realize that he had shot himself until he felt his leg get wet and saw blood on his Chucks.  In the end, Plax comes off just how we thought he would: stupid.  How the hell do you not realize that you’ve shot yourself in the leg?  He didn’t feel anything?  Also, he never addressed why he felt he needed to bring the gun into the club in the first place.  But no matter his explanation, the real reason is that Plax is a moron.
