So after I digested the Cardinals trade for Matt Holliday, I started thinking of the last time the Cardinals were contenders back in the 2005 and 2006 seasons. And, just like everyone else, there is one specific moment that comes to mind when I think of those teams and, more specificaly, every time I think of Albert Pujols. So let’s take a minute to remember the defining moment in Pujols’ career, an athletic feat so severe in it’s impact that it altered another athlete’s career for two years afterwards.
