Girardi Refers To Young Player As Female Genetalia (In A Loving Way)

Alright! Enough! I have absolutely had it with managers who add a “y” to end of a player’s name and there it is: a new nickname. It’s unoriginal and unimaginative bullshit. I’m talking to you Francona and Girardi. You two are the biggest culprits. Recently, one of my new favorite Yankees, catcher Francisco Cervelli, was optioned to AAA. Bummer. But, Jose Molina (of the heralded Molina clan) is now healthy, and deserves to play. When asked about the situation, here’s what Yankee manager Joe Girardi had to say:

“He’s been a big lift for us. To have two catchers go down in a span of days and the streak we ran of when both of them were gone, Cervy has proven he can play at this level,” Girardi said. “He brings a lot to the table behind the dish and offensively he contributed. I’m excited about his future.”

Yeah. Great. I was excited about his future. I bet he was too, Joe. Until you called him a cervix. Oh, he’s not going to hear about that one when he steps into clubhouse? Hopefully, he can brush of the insults and focus on his game. C’mon Joe. There are so many great nicknames out there. Pick one.

By the way, I could have chosen so many other pictures to include in this post. Gross pictures. If you don’t believe me, just do a google image search. Go ahead, I dare you.
